2020 Senior Class Marshal

(Students Graduating in May 2020)

Senior Class Marshals are distinguished individuals who have excelled academically, exemplified the spirit of the senior class, exhibited critical thinking skills, and engaged in student organizations and service learning within the community. They serve as the all-University student representatives for graduation by leading the student procession at Commencement. Marshals help in the selection of the commencement speaker, meet with senior-level University administrators, alumni and trustees, and represent the class at special University-wide events. In the past they have participated in the Martin Luther King, Jr. Dinner Celebration and served on the selection committee for the future Senior Class Marshals.

A completed application, a University transcript, a written essay and two faculty/staff recommendations are required. Syracuse University transcripts, judicial reports and academic integrity reports will be reviewed by the Senior Class Marshals selection committee.
